SCIENTIFIC NAME: Inimicus didactylus

 

DESCRIPTION: Extremely variable colouration. Upturned snout. Large prominent eyes set above head. Fleshy but mostly unwebbed dorsal spines (except first three). Pectoral fins fanlike. First two fin rays modified into claws for walking/dragging.

 

RANGE: Thailand to Australia and east to Vanuatu.
