SQUAT LOBSTER PICTURES

The Squat Lobster (Munida quadrispina) is a common inhabitant of sheltered deeper reefs in the Pacific Northwest. Although it is possible to find individuals hiding in the shallows, it is more common to find squat lobsters below 100ft or more. Not true lobsters, they are more closely related to hermit crabs. These Squat Lobster pictures are available for commercial licensing. For further information regarding usage please e-mail MarineLifePics.
